Standard images are images that are supplied by Rackspace and supported for your Rackspace Cloud account’s type and service level. The distinction between standard and non-standard images is described in detail in the article Rackspace standard and non-standard images.
The set of standard images isn’t the same for all Rackspace Cloud accounts. The standard images for an account differ based on the account’s support level (Managed Infrastructure or Managed Cloud service level) and whether or not the account uses RackConnect.
